Leasing Consultant jobs in New Hampshire

Commonwealth Collective LLC is searching for a qualified Leasing Consultant to join our growing company! This individual must be highly motivated, possess great communication and sales skills. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their next place to call home and ensure a smooth leasing process. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with your knowledge of property leasing laws, will contribute to your success in this role. Previous leasing, sales, or recruitment experience is strongly desired. Additionally, candidates must be organized and possess strong phone and computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lease vacant apartments to prospective residents by selling and communicating the value of the unit
• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available units
• Stay up-to-date on local rental market trends, property leasing laws, and Section 8/housing assistance requirements
• Upsell additional amenities or services to prospective tenants to maximize revenue
• Responds to phone and email inquiries from prospective residents
• Compile leasing paperwork accurately
• Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including reviewing applications and verifying applicant information
• Explains lease and additional questions a resident may have
• Affectively communicate with various housing representatives for the residents on assistance
• Adheres to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as required (flexible/hybrid working)
• Coordinate move-in processes, including conducting/confirming inspection for readiness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Sales
• Lead managment
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Comfortable using property management software (Buildium is a plus)
• Customer service skills and conflict resolution skills to overcome objections and resolve issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills to maintain records and schedules
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Requirements:
- Previous experience in property leasing or related field
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent office and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of property leasing laws and regulations
- Ability to understand and interpret lease agreements and contracts
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing requirements is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
