Being a Lending Officer performs a due diligence review of potential borrowers, including a risk and financial analysis. What are we looking for?
SVP of Lending, who will work on-site at our corporate office and be responsible for origination, processing, underwriting, portfolio management, risk management, and regulatory compliance of all areas of lending. This position will report directly to the CEO and be a part of the Executive Management Team (EMT).
This position will manage lending platforms, projects, processes, and products to accomplish growth and quality objectives. The candidate should be committed to providing superior member service while building strong, deep relationships with members. The SVP of Lending will be responsible for creating analytics to create reliable projections, report financial performance, and track overall trends. The candidate will be expected to use the information to direct lending operations and align the lending strategy to support the credit union’s overall growth strategy. This position also needs to stay abreast of new developments in lending technologies and delivery channels, while ensuring the credit union stays competitive and in compliance.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate must be creative, energetic, results-oriented, and technologically savvy. A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of lending experience, including consumer lending, mortgage lending, commercial lending, as well as collections; with 10 years of executive leadership experience in a progressive financial institution is preferred.
