Position Overview
The Ninth Circuit Court Libraries are currently accepting applications for our Pasadena, CA location.
The Ninth Circuit Library system serves all the federal courts within the jurisdiction of the Ninth Circuit, including more than 400 judges in the Circuit, district, and bankruptcy courts. The Library system includes a headquarters library in San Francisco and over 20 staffed branch locations, with at least one in each district that we support.
The Assistant Pasadena Branch Librarian is based in the Richard A. Chambers U.S. Courthouse in Pasadena and assists the Pasadena Branch Librarian in managing and maintaining the local library collection as well as serves as a primary point of contact for all Circuit judges and court staff in Pasadena. In addition, the successful candidate will be part of a team of librarians located throughout the Ninth Circuit committed to developing innovative resources and services for our users and will have the opportunity to participate in systemwide activities and initiatives.
