Performs routine cataloging processes. Additionally, Librarian Assistant assists with maintenance and update processes for library databases, software, and systems. May perform clerical tasks related to book purchasing and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Librarian Assistant works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
