Rate of Pay: $12.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Post high school secretarial education and experience are desirable.
- Computer skills using MS Office, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Google Suite
- Accurate, efficient typing skills (70 WPM suggested). Ability to complete tasks accurately during periods of frequent interruptions.
- Ability to organize, prioritize clerical and daily work assignments.
- Ability to schedule appointments, meetings and interviews in a prioritized manner.
- Ability to prepare and process records, reports and new documents.
- Possess polite, efficient and effective telephone and receptionist communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Able to work in a fast paced, stressful and high expectation environment.
- Ability to work independently; self-motivated and aligned with District performance expectations.
- Working knowledge of office procedures, operation of a variety of office equipment/machines, computer skills, etc.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Demonstrate responsible behavior, poise, professional loyalty, flexibility and mature judgment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively amongst numerous interruptions.
- Possess and demonstrate skills in human relations with staff and community.

Responsibilities
- Circulation, organization and storage of library materials and equipment
- Maintenance and repair of library materials and equipment
- Performing library material and equipment inventories
- Assist Staff & Students
- Implementing the process for overdue notifications
- Assisting students and staff in location and use of library materials and equipment
- Locating and collecting library materials for teachers
- Keeping the library neat and decorated appropriately for the season
- Promoting reading through displays and activities
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
