Summary
The Library Associate reports to the Head of Archives Management and Strategies and works closely with the Processing Archivist to develop processing procedures and access policies for all Newcomb Archives collections.
This position facilitates access to collections by creating and improving Newcomb Archives inventories and collection logs.
This position helps initiate processing and transport workflows as assigned. The Library Associate helps facilitate the relocation of the Newcomb Archives and Vorhoff Collection.
This position assists the Processing Archivist with departmental goals and initiatives, provides reference support for the collection, participates in professional development opportunities, and other duties as assigned.
This position is a full-time, 1 year term position.
