Position Summary
FVRLibraries is seeking a full-time Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will plan, lead, manage and direct the areas of responsibilities of payroll, accounts payable, L&I compliance, accounts receivable, departmental budget management reporting, reconciliations and cash receipting for the District. The Finance Manager supervises the Accounting Specialist, Accounting Assistant and Payroll Specialist. The position will enforce district fiscal policies and practices in areas of responsibility, participate in district-wide fiscal planning, coordinate accounting activities with district staff and implement special projects. Within the Finance Division, the Finance Manager will develop and implement departmental procedures and work with the Finance Director to plan the future direction of the department. They serve as the primary support to the Finance Director in district wide efforts such as contract management, preparation of the annual financial reports and associated audit efforts, implementing districtwide finance department goals and strategic initiatives as well as budget development and management.

Compensation & Benefits
Employees with experience matching the minimum education and experience requirements listed above can expect to start at $72,064, annually. The pay grade for this position spans from $72,064 and $108,096. Employees progress through the pay grade by demonstrating successful completion of growth and development activities at set milestones over the course of 20 years.
We have an excellent benefit package. FVRLibraries covers 90-95% of full-time employees’ health insurance premium cost and 90-100% of dental insurance premium costs. In addition, we provide employees with Life Insurance, AD&D and Long-Term Disability Insurance at no cost to the employee. Our employees enjoy 12 paid holidays throughout the year. Full time employees accrue 8 hours of sick leave per month. The initial vacation leave accrual is 11 hours per month; this increases over time based on years of employment.
