Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting with their medical needs.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures
- Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy
- Provide wound care and dressings
- Conduct sterile processing of medical equipment
- Assist with medical imaging procedures
- Administer gastric lavage and other gastrointestinal procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in NH or Compact
- 3 years CURRENT experience (within 6 mos) - NON-NEGOTIABLE
- Previous travel experience – Highly Preferred
- Rural/small facility experience – Highly Preferred
- IV CERTIFIED PREFERRED
- BLS AHA certification required
- Candidates MUST have their own form of transportation as this facility is located in an area where Uber and public transportation are not readily available.
