Loss Control Manager manages and develops loss control programs and administers risk management programs related to operating risk, insurance, and any class of financial risk. Researches and reports on cost effective plans to minimize loss. Being a Loss Control Manager contributes to business plans and objectives. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to loss control. Additionally, Loss Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Loss Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Loss Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Warehouse Team Member unloads and inventories ocean containers, fulfill orders, and sends them out for small parcel shipping, LTL shipping or in full truck loads. With hundreds of orders coming in daily from retail stores and online shoppers, the work environment is fast-paced, time sensitive, and labor-intensive. The ideal candidate is focused on the customer experience, quality, safety, and productivity.     Required Skills

    • Performing counts and ensuring all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
    • Maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
    • Investigating and correcting discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
    • Addressing problems in supply and delivery and finding appropriate solutions
    • Identify damaged items and remove from inventory
    • Rotate stock to assure first in, first out (FIFO) flow of inventory
    • Assist receiving, and putting up stock
    • Work effectively with all departments to meet material requirements in support of orders and shipments
    • Being able to add, subtract, multiply and divide correctly so that you do not mistakenly input the wrong information in inventory

    • Able to climb stairs and ladders, extend your reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing and walking, bend from your trunk, operate mobile equipment, kneel, and push and pull objects
    • Ability to operate hand controls with both hands
    • Ability to operate foot pedals with both feet
    • Have sufficient neck range of motion to operate mobile equipment (flexion/extension 60 degrees, lateral flexion 40 degrees, rotation 70 degrees)
    • Ability to perform repetitive overhead reaching
    • Able to work well with others and fit in with a team dynamic
    • Ability to monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
    • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisors

    Qualifications

    • 6 months Warehouse experience is required; 2 years preferred
    • 6 months Forklift and High Bay order picker experience required; 2 years preferred
    • 6 months Inventory/ Auditing experience; 2 years preferred
    • 6 months Cycle count experience; 2 years preferred
    • 6 months Quality Control experience; 2 years preferred

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
