Medical Assistant- Managed Care/ Case Management
· One (1) year related experience.
· CMA certified
· Strong interpersonal skills with patients and co-workers.
· Proven ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients and their families, particularly in sensitive situations.
· Ability to field and manage a high volume of interaction with patients and their families.
· Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and shift priorities as needed.
· Ability to consistently prioritize patient care over other work demands.
· Be able to maintain strict confidentiality with experience applying sound judgment and discretion.
· Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work with mental health populations, including autistic children.

Role and Responsibilities:
· Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
· Communicate with patients to set up and schedule optimal appointment times.
· Facilitate and engage as an integral part of the team and workflow by helping where needed and communicating needs.
· Gather and track medical information from patients.
· Organize and input data into electronic health records.
· Inquire and process patients’ health insurance.
· Support office with administrative and secretarial tasks
· Communicate with the internal office team and providers to ensure patients are helped, and everyday tasks are accomplished.
· Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations.
· Perform TMS. (Onsite Training)
· Perform duties of differing service platforms and any other responsibilities required.
· Act as liaison between patients, providers, and care team
· Pays close attention to details and documentation.
· Exhibits ability to be flexible to address patient needs as they arise.
· Communicates clearly with patients’, family, and medical care team.
· Exhibits strong interpersonal skills.
· Works well with a diverse population.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
