Marketing Communications Specialist jobs in Goose Creek, SC

SAIC is seeking a tech savvy and organized Technical Marketing and Communications Associate to support the Engineering Innovation Factory. The successful candidate will plan, develop, and/or implement communications projects, using a range of media. Assignments include assisting with communications in the form of write-ups, presentations, and videos, put forth at trade shows, social media, and used during customer interactions. This position may be remote anywhere in the US for the right candidate.

In support of monthly and quarterly demo days, the Associate will:

• Assist with demonstration agendas generation and manages invitations for the demonstrations
• Host meetings from a Zoom/Teams platform
• Capture key development content from the presentations to include proof points, Q & A, Follow Ups
• Post videos from meeting and artifacts presented to Teams site
• This role will also apply various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services, and brand. Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products, services, business plans and management communications.

More specifically this will involve:

• Utilizing the group’s Vlog, content posted and refreshed as appropriate
• Assist in developing briefings with team members with graphics and other visualizations to create understanding of content to include utilizing Power BI
• Document repository maintenance and updating with reuse material as it is developed
• Generating PPT and other graphics from sketches and whiteboards.
• Facilitating the creation of short videos highlighting our solutions.
• Generate social media posts from team achievements.
• In all things, adhering to SAIC marketing and branding standards and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant major such as communications, marketing, or business administration. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience with SharePoint and organizing content
