Material Flow & Conveyor Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our company's online visibility and search engine rankings. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our website is optimized for search engines and that our content is engaging, informative, and easily accessible to our target audience. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and analytical individual who is passionate about SEO and eager to make a significant impact in the manufacturing industry.
Job Goal
To focus on company search engine rankings, driving traffic, increasing brand awareness, and conversions.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent or Higher Education (Community College/University)
- One to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns.
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, and other SEO tools.
- Knowledge of keyword research, data mining tools, SEO best practices, and industry trends
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, instant messaging, phone, etc.)
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data daily.
- Familiarity with BigCommerce or other similar content management systems
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Attends regularly; Notifies manager and department when absent.
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings.
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials.
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance and analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Efficiently communicate and collaborate with others in the department to align goals and manage SEO strategy.
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions.
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
- Optimize website content, metadata, and images for search engines.
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
- Bi-Weekly Report on SEO strategy and rankings
