Want to join our team as a Materials Developer?
· Identify suitable sources for new material development and ensure material sourcing strategy aligns with apparel factory sourcing strategy.
· Research and drive fabric, trim, and related technology innovation projects and ensure their successful technical implementation.
· Lead and participate in cross-functional discussions related to materials topics, steer the material selection process and drive material consolidation to improve overall efficiencies.
· Partner with Developers on building T&A calendars to ensure fabric and trim lead-times are represented
· Maintain fabric and trim physical libraries, maintain electronic records in Texbase system
· Oversee maintenance of Peak Apparel and Accessories Quality Assurance Manual which outlines requirements to ensure all fabrics, trims, garments and accessories meet Peak and specific sport performance standards, compliance, and protocols.
· Oversees third party testing of all materials and apparel and troubleshoots any QC issues.
· In collaboration with Design and Development, oversee fabric color approval process, including lab dips and production fabric lots.
