As our team’s Perioperative Services RN Director, the successful candidate will lead the department by developing patient care service goals through safety, reliability, and quality. This position is accountable for fiscal, operational, clinical, and administrative leadership and will provide key communications to staff and stakeholders on nursing activities within the division of nursing. Along with the CNO and other Nurse Director and senior leadership, the Surgical Services Nurse Director will create a cohesive culture in accordance with the hospital's mission and vision statement to provide optimal patient care. A focus will be on investing in professional growth and development while providing guidance to the Operating Room Nurse Manager and the PACU Nurse Manager team and nurse educators within the Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy, Operating Rooms, Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), Comfort Zone, and OR scheduling service line.
The Surgical Services Nursing Director is experienced in Perioperative Nursing Leadership within a hospital-based setting. Great candidates include OR Nurse Directors or Managers and strong PACU Nurse Managers will be considered. OR Nurse Educators and Assistant Nurse Managers may be considered depending on the size and scope of their experience. RN Leaders with their CNOR, MSN, or MHA will earn quick interviews.
