Media Buyer jobs in Anderson, SC
Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Description
What to expect: As a Media Buyer, you'll work across traditional and digital media channels to develop strategic paid media recommendations for effective advertising campaigns on behalf of an assigned client roster.
What you’ll do:
- Function as daily account contact under the supervision of assigned account leader to implement digital and traditional advertising campaigns
- Communicate daily with clients and vendors, building relationships
- Monitor performance, identify insights and implement optimizations to digital campaigns in accordance with established KPIs
- Collect and analyze market data; providing rationale for all recommendations to establish the optimal media mix
- Identify target audiences and understand their behavior and habits
- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate media campaigns
- Manage budgets and return on investment (ROI)
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Proficient knowledge of various research tools (Strata, Advantage, PrimeLingo, The Trade Desk, Tableau, etc. highly preferred)
- Foundational digital knowledge/skills; including proficiency in Google Ads, demand side platforms, and FB platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of the media planning/buying process
- Proactive and clear communication
