Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This is a full time contractor role as a Media Buyer for Power Fox Media, a Trend Capital portfolio company. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping and executing our advertising strategies. You will be responsible for purchasing advertising space across various media platforms to maximize the ROI. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creativity and a deep understanding of media trends and consumer behavior.
MEDIA BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES
Ad Creation & Management: Design, create, launch, and run ad campaigns on social media platforms, ensuring they are aligned with product guidelines and objectives.
Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets, ensuring maximum ROI.
Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytical tools.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in social media and affiliate marketing.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
Optimization: Regularly review and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics to ensure KPI achievement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Media Buyer, specifically within social media channels (preferred in affiliate marketing)
Positive ROI at high scale (optimization for purchases in e-commerce or lead generation for any type of services)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making.
Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube/Google).
Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
Budget-management skills and proficiency.
Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
