Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. About the Role:
Planners are responsible for workforce planning of field operations and work closely with the technicians, supervisors, and managers in the local communities Windstream serves. Planners may handle multiple communities and are often responsible for workforce of around 75 to 100 technicians.
What You'll Do:
- Review, monitor and adjust field operation technician daily tasks to ensure all commitment times are met.
- Build close working relationships with field technicians, supervisors, and managers to maintain and improve dispatch performance and efficiency.
- Oversee technician routes to ensure optimal use of time, manage capacity requirements, and communicate with technicians and local managers to ensure compliance and productivity.
- Work with field personnel to update tech calendars and manage work zones.
- Analyze failed tasks, provide system administration, and correct tasks interface errors.
- Assist customers with questions regarding their tasks.
- Contact customers to reschedule appointments or respond to escalations.
- Other duties as assigned.

This is a virtual/work from home position. Windstream requires employees working virtually to maintain a distraction-free workspace with sufficient high speed internet access of 25 MBPS or higher.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years experience with 3 years directly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
