Global Cash Application & Accounts Payable Director
Under the general direction of the SVP – Finance Operations, the Global Cash Application & AP Director is responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the Accounts Payable Team as well as the Cash Application team. This position analyzes the invoice flow and associated approvals for accuracy, ensures timely payments to vendors and prepares payment registers for approval. The position also manages the timely application of client receipts, the reconciliation of unapplied cash, and management of Mood Media’s payment and receipt methods. The individual will have the opportunity to partner with leadership to bring new process improvement ideas that will drive value for Mood Media. In addition, the AP Manager and Cash Application Supervisors will report directly to this position.

Specific Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates accurate and efficient processing of all invoices
Coach team members to develop their skillsets towards career goals
Evaluate new tools that will bring value to the accounts payable processes
Continuously improve metrics and drive towards best-in-class performance
Coordinates 1099 tax reporting and escheatment processes
Assists Affiliate Services with monthly IA rebate processing
Prepare analysis and reports summarizing
Lead the corporate credit card program and identify opportunities to maximize card rebates
Lead efforts to digitize client payment behaviors
Work as liaison with travel and credit card providers and provide reporting to Senior Management
Supervise global staff and monitor performance.
Assist in projects as assigned by department management to maintain data integrity
Identify and immediately report to leadership any existing or potential issues that may affect our relationship with our clients, whether internal or external
