Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with patient services in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic) is desirable
- Dental office or dental receptionist experience is a bonus
