Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to medical professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate medical records; phlebotomy skills helpful.
Duties:
- Perform basic patient care duties, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Administer basic life support measures when necessary
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient care delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately document patient information
- Assist with X-ray procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
- Familiarity with inhale electronic health record system is a plus
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in performing basic life support measures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred
