Being a Medical Librarian (MLS) creates training materials and delivers library instruction and education programs for physicians and other staff. Leads or contributes ideas for library strategic planning, quality initiatives, and the development of digital media and educational resources. Additionally, Medical Librarian (MLS) maintains current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature. Requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a manager. Gundersen Health System - St. Elizabeth's is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Wabasha, MN laboratory team. ASCP certification is not required!
What You'll Do:
You will perform routine laboratory testing on a variety of specimens and demonstrate competency within the full scope of laboratory procedures, chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, molecular, and transfusion medicine. You will analyze information, monitor quality performance, and take action to ensure the efficient delivery of accurate and timely laboratory test results and services. This position will also be responsible for the development and implementation of laboratory procedures, as well as the maintenance of quality control in the laboratory understanding the requirements and standards of regulating agencies to ensure compliance within the laboratory.
