Description
Iowa Orthopedic Center is actively seeking a Pre-Coder to join our team. This position is an entry-level coding position. The role ensures all information is complete and available for Certified Professional Coders (CPC) to code physician services to bill the charges to insurance. Pre-coders are responsible for reviewing and tracking revenue processes, such as capturing medical records from outside facilities and reviewing documentation for accuracy. Our full-time position is Monday through Friday, with clinic hours. After completing the training period, this position offers a remote work arrangement. You must reside within a 2-hour radius of the Des Moines metro area to be successful, as in-person meetings are essential. This position as a Pre-Coder is a great fit for someone working toward becoming a CPC.
