This individual will provide the overall supervision and coordination of the animal and translational research protocols for the laboratories of the division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (DEM). These are primarily located at the VAMC, with the following associated Personnel: 5 Principal Investigators (PI’s) a well as collaborators, consultants, graduate students, fellows, and residents. In selected research projects, the incumbent will assume complete responsibility to include: experimental design, literature review, performance of experimental procedures, collection and analysis of data, and presentation of results.
