Position Summary
Full-Time Clinical Scribe position specializing in charting physician-patient encounters in real time, during patient clinic visits. Duties include transcribing clinical notes and entering information into the electronic health record under the direction of the provider. This position supports workflow and documentation for medical record coding. Responsible for capturing accurate and detailed documentation (handwritten, electronic, or otherwise) of the encounter in a timely manner. Knowledge of medical terminology, technical spelling, and basic anatomy is required. Experience with EPIC preferred. Position must uphold all HIPAA and health information guidelines. Excellent listening and verbal communication skills required to communicate detailed information.
