Medical Staff Credentialing Director is responsible for all aspects of the verification process for medical staff incumbents. Provides regulatory oversight and guidance to the credentialing process. Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Director maintains working knowledge and ensures continuing compliance with state, federal, and institutional standards and guidelines. Develops and implements policies and protocols related to medical staff verifications and ensures that the organization and staff are in accordance with organizational and industry standards. Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Director analyzes reports on applications and credential status to identify trends and improve the credentialing process. Presents files to the credentialing committee and may act as a liaison to state medical licensure boards regarding the status of license applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS). Typically reports to senior management. The Medical Staff Credentialing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Medical Staff Credentialing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Product Supervisors

    KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND TEAM:

    The Credentialing Analyst will work collaboratively and directly with Product Supervisors and fellow Credentialing Analysts/Credentialing Attorneys in the reviewing of all assigned submissions. The Credentialing Analyst will also work with the Client Success and Technology teams on customer service tasks, system testing, and more.

    THE OPPORTUNITY: As a regulatory compliance company, F&I contracts in the auto finance space, the Credentialing Analyst holds a key role by reviewing contracts sold to consumers related to vehicle maintenance, service, protection, and waiver products at the request of financial lenders. The Credentialing Analyst will review the contract submissions and determine whether to approve or reject the submissions based on a variety of criteria relating to lender requirements for loan funding, federal and state regulations, and consumer protection. The Credentialing Analyst will also help identify system and process efficiency improvements and must have a willingness to remain proactive in communicating with fellow Credentialing Analysts/Attorneys and Supervisors.

    Specifically, the Credentialing Analyst will have responsibility to:

    • Become independent in product submission reviews with the ability to leverage peer opinions as needed for nuance and unique situations, while staying informed about changes to customers’ Minimum Business Requirements and Standard Operating Procedures and identifying issues that are new or inconsistent for SOP management.
    • Ensure accurate approval or rejection of a product form submission based on lender requirements for loan funding, federal and state regulations, and consumer protection.
    • Determine effective use of tools provided for the credentialing process, to complete the timely and accurate review of submission, utilizing the company specific platform, , excel, draftable and internal library tools to increase quality, efficiency, and consistency of reviews.
    • Provide accurate and complete refund rule data available in every approved submission.
    • Reviews and responds to product company inquiries, in addition to managing team help desk emails to ensure timely responses via help desk to customers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    The following knowledge, skills, education, and experiences are preferred:

    • 2-4 years’ experience with compliance and/or regulatory contract review highly preferred
    • Experience working in a regulatory environment or with regulated industries
    • 1-2 years’ experience working remotely
