The Social Services Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, administering and evaluating the social services program for the residents of the nursing, and to oversee the operation of the department and staff.

• EDUCATION:  High school diploma or GED is required.  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.  LSW or MSW is preferred.

• CERTIFICATION: Not required.

• EXPERIENCE:  Preferred 2 year experience in in nursing home or assisted living/personal care setting and minimum of 2 years in management supervisory role.
