As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding gymnastics skills to students of various ages and skill levels. Duties:
- Develop and implement gymnastics lesson plans based on the skill level and age of the students
- Instruct students on proper techniques, form, and safety measures in gymnastics
- Provide demonstrations and hands-on guidance to help students improve their skills
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure smooth operations of the gymnastics program
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing gym rules and maintaining a clean and organized gym area
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students
- Ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting
- Experience in other sports such as cheerleading, swimming, judo, karate, basketball, etc., is beneficial
- Previous experience working with children or teaching physical education is preferred
