Purpose:
The Jail Clinician will work collaboratively with the Jail Medical/Mental Health workers to assess the mental health needs of identified inmates in the Boulder County Jail and recommend the appropriate follow up planning and services.
Job Summary:
This position works within the Jail Medical/Mental Health unit with the jail mental health team and the jail psychiatrists. This position will perform direct client services in the form of mental status evaluations, assessment, brief follow up, case management and case consultation under the direction and management of Boulder County Jail operations.
Essential Functions:
