Mental Health Clinician - MSW provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Completes patient assessments to identify social and emotional challenges. Responsibilities and Duties- Assess various mental health diagnoses
- Treatment Planning
- Daily documentation
- Engage in regular case consultations & clinical staff meetings
- Coordinate services with outside providers & internal Ellie providers
- Complete all HIPPA training requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills- Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences
- Have clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or pursuing licensure
- Experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Effective written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of typical office technology, and Electronic Health Record systems
Preferred Qualifications and Skills- Fully licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with a valid state of Connecticut License
- Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
- Credentialed with insurance panels
