Mental Health Clinician - MSW provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Completes patient assessments to identify social and emotional challenges. Being a Mental Health Clinician - MSW may conduct crisis interventions with patients and families. Recommends and coordinates services. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician - MSW coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Typically requires eligibility for state licensure. Requires a master's degree in social work. Typically reports to a manager. Mental Health Clinician - MSW's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Qualifications:
Must meet the minimum licensing requirements outlined by the State Board of Examiners in Social Work and Marriage and Family Counseling, Licensed Professional Counselors, or the Mississippi State Board of Psychology. Experience working with mental health patients and families is preferred but not required. Possession of a valid Mississippi Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
