Location: Alaska

Position: RN Stepdown

Responsibilities:

• Checking patients' health status daily and making note of any changes or concerns
• Caring for multiple patients throughout the same shift, often varying in age and condition
• Monitoring patients with life-saving medical equipment such as IVs, catheters, feeding tubes and ventilators
• Responding to "code blue " alerts and other urgent situations
• Providing a comfortable and secure environment for the patient while acting as their advocate

Certifications - Required

AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate

Education - Required

Graduate of accredited Nursing program

Experience - Required

1 - 2 year Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line

Licenses - Required

Registered Nurse State of Alaska
