Morgue Attendant receives bodies of deceased patients and helps place bodies in compartment trays. Confirms identification of bodies and releases bodies as appropriate. Being a Morgue Attendant may assist pathologist in performing autopsies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Morgue Attendant typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
