Mortgage Collection Manager manages a team of collectors and supervisors who limit collection portfolio losses and delinquencies. Trains and staffs collection associate team. Being a Mortgage Collection Manager evaluates delinquent loans and determines foreclosure status. May assist in developing strategies to limit foreclosures, repossessions, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Collection Manager typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Collection Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Collection Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Work:
    At Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage, Sales Manager/Team leader is responsible for managing 8-10 reverse mortgage Loan Officers backed by an unstoppable marketing machine with LEADS, LEADS, LEADS. The Sales Manager will assist the team to hit their Daily/Weekly/Monthly metrics as provided by Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. 

    Job Duties:

    • Daily/weekly trainings and call reviews
    • Screening, Interviewing and Hiring team members
    • Managing lead conversions and metrics
    • Managing a pipeline of loans and ensuring they close in a timely manner
    • Coaching and motivating the team
    • Assisting upper management in growing the HECM department
    Qualifications:
    • The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of reverse mortgage
    • experience managing a team of reverse mortgage LO's in a call center environment
    • Would consider a manager that has managed in the mortgage space for inside call centers and does not have reverse mortgage experience but does have mortgage experience
    • Would consider a loan officer with at least 2 years of reverse mortgage experience in a call center environment
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Base pay is roughly 90K. Potential earnings average incentive base compensation is 100-250K a year.
