Mortgage Credit Manager manages a group of mortgage credit supervisors and monitors application procedures to ensure assignments meet established processes/standards. Oversees analysis of current, new and renewed residential loans. Being a Mortgage Credit Manager provides recommendations for improvement to top management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Credit Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Credit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Mortgage Credit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities
- Provide every client the best service in the industry
- Market and solicit residential loan business, ensuring all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
- Advise and educate clients on the home-buying or refinancing process and how to better manage their mortgages
- Own and build your business within USA Mortgage with the support of our team
Requirements
- Must keep and maintain MLO license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of various residential mortgage loan products
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Passion, great communication skills, self-motivation, positive attitude, and competitive spirit
- MLO approved license in NMLS
Compensation is 100% Commission. Eligible for 401k and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
