Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and skilled Motion Graphics Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and editing short-form videos tailored for social media platforms and OTT/CTV. Additionally, the Motion Graphics Design Assistant will be tasked with resizing existing digital ads, including videos and GIFs, to optimize performance across various channels. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere is a must, along with demonstrated video editing skills. Additional graphic design experience is preferred, as the role will involve creating visually engaging content. We are a fast-paced political design firm looking for folks ready to jump in for a full-time, in-person, six-month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Digital Design Lead to quickly execute edits for existing motion graphics video content.
• Edit and refine short-form videos to ensure they align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
• Bring static design elements to life through animation, key frames, and creative design to enhance visual storytelling.
• Resize and optimize existing digital ads, including videos and GIFs, for different platforms and screen sizes.
• Work closely with project managers to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content on time.
• Assist with other digital design tasks and projects as needed to support the creative team.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere required.
• Solid understanding of motion graphics fundamentals, such as visual hierarchy, typographic principles, and video pacing.
• Demonstrated experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across different platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Graphic design experience is preferred but not strictly required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $4,300.00 - $4,600.00 per month
