    Job Summary

    We are seeking an innovative Unit Marketing Manager to join our engaged food service management team at University of Idaho located in Moscow. In this role, you will lead marketing efforts for our campus dining services, with a focus on selling meal plans, enhancing customer experience, and driving revenue growth. As a key member of engaged team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your critical thinking, collaborative spirit, and new way to put our campus on the map and exceed customer expectations. Reporting to our supportive RDM, you will play a pivotal role in engaging the campus community, maintaining our website, selling meal plans, and keeping our marketing fresh and up-to-date. Join us in promoting dining services, events, and special offers across campus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for our campus dining services, maximising your creativity and critical thinking to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
    • Analyze customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation in the marketplace.
    • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts, using technology solutions such as robot delivery and card scanning to enhance efficiency and convenience.
    • Expand and develop marketing platforms, applying innovative strategies to reach target audiences and drive customer acquisition and retention.
    • Lead the productivity of marketing plans and projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results within agreed budgets.
    • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results, applying key performance metrics to measure success and advise future direction.
    • Deliver marketing presentations to internal customers and external partners, showcasing the value and impact of our dining services on campus.
    • Stay abreast of industry standard methodologies and trends, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in our marketing efforts.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of three years of marketing experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
    • Ability to present to large groups with confidence and professionalism.
    • Knowledge of merchandising and promotions, with a track record of driving sales and revenue growth.
    • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing presentations and materials.
