As a Community Curator, you will be responsible for creating a sense of belonging, activity, and wellness among our diverse membership base. Your primary focus will be on relationship-building, programming, and implementing remarkable experiences tailored to individual needs and preferences.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Member Engagement:

    •  Develop and implement strategies to enhance the membership experience and cultivate a dynamic community atmosphere
    •  Build positive relationships with members, serving as a reliable point of contact and regularly communicating community updates and upcoming programs
    •  Foster connections and act as an agent in the community, understanding and finding ways to best accommodate individual needs to create a better overall experience


     Experiential Ideation and Execution: 

    •  Curate a diverse range of spaces and experiences, including social gatherings, outdoor activities, workshops, and discussions
    •  Collaborate with other departments to plan and manage experiences that align with the interests and preferences of community members
    •  Manage event logistics, including venue selection, food and beverage curation, audiovisual requirements, and ensuring an exceptional membership experience


     Community Development:

    • Work collaboratively with the larger Community team to define and actualize possibilities to strengthen community bonds and foster meaningful connections among members
    • Contribute to the overall strategy and evolution of the membership program, actively participating in its design
    • Implement initiatives to organically grow the community over time and empower participants creatively
    • Cultivate a sense of trust, inclusion, and respect within the community, ensuring that all members feel valued Improve the design and offerings based on emerging findings and feedback

     Job Qualifications:

    • Ability to graciously listen, reflect, communicate, and make connections
    •  Previous relationship management experience in fields including community, hospitality, design, and event production  
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
    • Desire to learn and grow with the Powder Mountain team
    • Commitment to excellence and belief in social fabric
    • Passion for hospitality, food, design, and outdoor pursuits
    • Proficiency in Excel, CRM, and social media
    • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate community events and lodge operations


    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amount of weight (up to 40lbs )
    • Sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
    • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis
    • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis
    • Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements
    • Ability to safely take part in all activities The Company is providing to our Members (skiing, boarding, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling, etc.).

    Work Environment:

    Work will be performed both in an indoor environment and an outdoor environment. Indoor environment: expect to be exposed to noise, dust, potential mechanical and electrical hazards, and cleaning chemicals. Outdoor environment: expect to be exposed to outdoor climate in which team member will be exposed to a variety of temperatures/weather/summer/winter conditions.
