Job Title: Traffic Control Design/Drafter (NOTE: This is NOT working as a Traffic Control Technician, but drafting Traffic Control plans on a computer).
Job Summary: The Traffic Control Designer will utilize the RapidPlan software to design traffic control plans in compliance with California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA-MUTCD) standards, ensuring accurate and efficient designs that meet project specifications, while upholding the core values of service, relationships, and character.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
● Design traffic control plans using the RapidPlan software, ensuring accurate, efficient, and CA-MUTCD compliant designs that meet project specifications
● Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and other team members to gather necessary information for plan development, such as project requirements, site conditions, and traffic patterns
● Ensure all traffic control plans comply with the CA-MUTCD standards, as well as company policies and procedures
● Review and revise traffic control plans as needed, based on feedback from project teams, clients, or regulatory agencies
● Provide support and guidance to field technicians in the implementation of traffic control plans, ensuring accurate setup and safe traffic management in accordance with CA-MUTCD standards
● Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, regulations, and software updates related to traffic control plan design and RapidPlan
● Contribute to the success of the company by upholding its core values of service, relationships, and character
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 1 year of experience in traffic control plan design, preferably with RapidPlan software and CA-MUTCD compliance
● Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field is preferred
