Analyzes a network's performance in metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, or security and identifies areas for improvement. Being a Network Planning Analyst designs solutions to improve this performance. Communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to understand how a network operates and fits in with organizational systems and objectives. Additionally, Network Planning Analyst develops, updates, and maintains network documentation including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Successful candidates will possess the following:
Experience administrating Microsoft 365, such as Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams;
Experience working with server hardware in an enterprise environment such as data center maintenance, installing servers and network storage;
Experience managing virtualized platform clusters, such as Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI, or VMWare vSphere;
Experience working with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewall, and wireless access points;
Experience administrating Windows Server environment, such as Active Directory, File/Print server, WSUS, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP;
Experience managing backup solutions, cluster replication, and disaster recovery;
Good knowledge of security concepts and experience working with an EDR solution;
Good knowledge of scripting languages and experience with PowerShell;
Microsoft 365, Azure, or Cisco Administrator certification is a plus;
The ability to provide technical guidance and training to the end-users;
The ability to research and evaluate new technologies, and present recommendations;
The ability to be self-directed and work independently with minimum supervision;
Self-motivation and passion to learn;
Good oral and written communication skills;
A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others;
Knowledge to perform security audits to safeguard equipment and systems.
