Network Planning Analyst jobs in Chandler, AZ

Responsible for providing technical support in design, configuration and implementation of network equipment in areas including LAN/WAN/SAN, security, wireless, VOIP/IP and data circuits.

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Network Analyst to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.

The key responsibilities of this Network Analyst include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with the design and installation of computer networks, connections and cabling
• Install and maintain network hardware and software
• Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices
• Assist with analysis of network performance for ways to improve
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance with minimal user interruption
• Assist with the back-up systems associated with business critical or production systems
• Assist with recovery services as outlined within the disaster recovery plan
• Primary support for printers and multi-purpose devices
• Provide primary support with CNC / DNC controllers as they integrate with embedded systems
• Member of the department on-call team

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Network Analyst at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

• Demonstrated knowledge of computer networks, active directory
• Familiarity with AS400 environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of system management, enterprise backup including media rotation and storage
• Familiarity of supporting CNC / DNC machinery software
• Degree in Information Systems and 3 years of technical systems experience or 5 - 7 years of experience in a technical support role
• Proven experience as a network technician or analyst
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks within a fast pace environment
• Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
• Hand on experience with software and hardware implementation
• Primary requirements of the position require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged period of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
