SUMMARY:
This opportunity will give the selected candidate experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and synthesizing data in a role that supports the Economic Health Offices’ strategic goals.
The position provides essential support for economic health programs by conducting analysis, researching trends and best practices, and summarizing various types of economic data and information that can be used in reports and presentations. Duties will vary and range from providing administrative support, researching, data analysis, report generation and writing, and responding to questions, generally from customers and the public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary function of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Support Economic Health programs and plans with data analysis, reporting, and responding to both internal and external data inquiries.
- Assist with developing and organization/maintenance of program tracking systems.
- Collaborate with users to improve data systems and/or processes.
- Maintain a specific project for a department or division as assigned.
- Research and document data workflow procedures to support departmental business requirements.

- Experience using Excel and other data visualization programs for analysis and visualizations (e.g. graphs, tables).
- Experience using ArcGIS and ArcGIS online to analyze, manipulate, and display geospatial data.
- Ability to research solutions and synthetize information in reports and presentations.
