Network Planning Analyst jobs in Fort Wayne, IN
Network Planning Analyst plans, designs, evaluates, and optimizes network systems. Analyzes a network's performance in metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, or security and identifies areas for improvement. Being a Network Planning Analyst designs solutions to improve this performance. Communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to understand how a network operates and fits in with organizational systems and objectives. Additionally, Network Planning Analyst develops, updates, and maintains network documentation including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Network Planning Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Regional IS&T Infrastructure, and the Telephony/Data Technical Lead, the Network Analyst's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Extranets across the organization. In addition, the Network Analyst will assist and in some cases lead the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, security devices, and communication links.
This individual will also analyze and resolve complex network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training where required.Cisco CCNA certification is preferred. Network Security certification is preferred.
