Network Planning Analyst jobs in Hamilton, OH

Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate need for a Planning Analyst within the Manufacturing Planning – Corporate Planning department. This is an on-site position located in West Chester, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaboration with Plant Planning groups to understand the business functions and offer new insights as well as support existing approaches. As a Planning Analyst in the Manufacturing Planning Systems group at Cleveland-Cliffs, you can expect to interact primarily with local planning groups across the production facilities in addition to other stakeholder groups such as Corporate IT, Commercial Sales, and Quality.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes and flows across the Cleveland-Cliffs footprint.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives intended to enhance planning and scheduling procedures and tools used daily.
• Provide detailed analyses and interpretation as needed to demonstrate proof of concept.
• Provide ongoing support to users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and SQL experience
• Comfort and experience summarizing, formatting, and handling large data sets.
• Ability to communicate effectively & efficiently with various levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience in production planning, inventory control, or scheduling within Manufacturing.
• Experience in a steel manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Excel experience
• Python, SAS programming exposure
• PowerBI development experience
