THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced network engineer with a strong background in Cisco and Juniper switches, as well as expertise in firewalls. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture and design, as well as experience implementing and maintaining complex networks.
Key responsibilities: Network Engineer- Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions
- Configure Cisco and Juniper switches
- Implement and maintain firewalls
- Develop and maintain network documentation
- Travel to all manufacturing sites. 50-60%
NOTE: Sponsorship is not available for this position and it is located in Decatur, IL
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture and design, as well as experience implementing and maintaining complex networks- 3 years of experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of Cisco and Juniper switches
- Experience with firewalls (preferably Cisco ASA or Juniper SRX)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and network security
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a plant environment if needed.
