Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Typically reports to the Nursing Director. Requires RN license. The Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Corvallis Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a self-motivated, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with good communication skills to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing!

Responsibilities:
- Responsible to provide Clinical Supervision for all residents as “day supervisor”.
- Responsible for all In-service Coordination/Educational needs of all departments. Will maintain in-service records.
- Responsible for accident/unusual occurrence tracking/trending monitoring systems as assigned.
- Assistant Director of Nursing with pressure sore and infection control monitoring.
- Responsible for rounding on all facility residents at least twice a day.
- Responsible for making schedules for nursing staff/CNA staff for all hours as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
- Assist Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day functions.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Licensed Nurse.
- BSN preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other health care related facility is required.
