Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in Washington
Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and conducts the activities of the hospital's nursing home in accordance with established hospital policies. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The Director of Nursing will oversee both clinical and operational aspects of the department. This person will be working closely with the Director of Operations, and be supported by a group of dedicated RN Case Managers and Care Coordination staff.
A candidate with a WA RN license, BSN prepared, and prior experience working in home health, hospital, or skilled nursing facility, and prior Director of Patient Care and Home Care Services experience will score a quick interview.
The RN Director will enjoy working and living in a progressive and coastal area that is famous for Starbucks and overall coffee culture, grunge music scene, the Seahawks, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, headquarters of a lot of the tech industry (including both Amazon and Microsoft), hiking, kayaking, and general outdoors lifestyle.
