May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Additionally, Operating Room Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Operating Room Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Join our exceptional team as a Clinic Supervisor, Operating Room and take on a pivotal role overseeing the dynamic operations of our Operating Department. With 10 fully equipped surgical rooms, 2 special procedure rooms servicing pediatric patients of all acuity levels. As the supervisor, you’ll collaborate with our Surgical Services Nurse Manager ensuing a smooth day to day functioning of the department. Provide input to the budget, monitor staffing needs and managing staff. Collaborate on department schedules, attend meetings, conduct audits, work with Infection Prevention and handle any issues with Epic.
