    Job Description:

    As a Business Development Representative at Chatelier Consultant Group, you will be vital in driving our business development efforts and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibility will be researching and identifying preferred vendors capable of fulfilling the requirements outlined in state and federal government contracts. You will collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients are connected with qualified vendors who can deliver exceptional results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential vendors with the expertise and capabilities required to fulfill government contracts in various industries.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of preferred vendors, including detailed profiles outlining their qualifications, capabilities, and past performance.
    • Proactively contact potential vendors to establish and nurture relationships, articulating the value proposition of partnering with Chatelier Consultant Group.
    • Collaborate with our consulting team to understand client needs and requirements and match them with suitable vendors.
    • Facilitate introductions and coordinate communications between clients and preferred vendors throughout procurement.
    • Monitor vendor performance and satisfaction and provide client and vendor feedback to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities in government contracting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or experience in related fields.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or procurement
    • Vital research and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively evaluate vendor qualifications and capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as occasional travel may be required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with small businesses or government agencies.
    • Previous experience in vendor management or supplier relationship management.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
