Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     We are searching for an enthusiastic addition to our Organizational Development & Training (OD&T) department. As the OD&T Specialist, you will be responsible for administration and coordination of efforts that continually build the Company’s human capital through leadership training and development and cultural competencies in order to maintain a competitive leading role in our industry.

    What you will be doing:

    • Organize and manage the projects that support the infrastructure that ensures leadership development and training, and succession within the organization. Coordinate the activities involved in the five levels of MD&B’s Leadership Development Program.
    • Coordinate and manage the projects that support the STP Committees, Management Guidelines, Talent Plan Task Team, Department Advanced Management Program, and the Succession Task Team.
    • Develop, organize, and maintain materials that support OD&T and HR initiatives.
    • Manage the scheduling and facilitate in the absence of OD&T Manager various OD&T functions
    • - LDP Update Meetings, Common Culture, and Supervisory Training.

    In order to be successful in this role, here’s what we will need from you:

    • True desire and enthusiasm for administrative efficiency, organization, and management of schedules and timelines.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization;
    • Ability to leverage technology both to facilitate, and to improve, the administrative process. Excellent MS Office skills, and the curiosity to lean in and understand new platforms such as HRIS and LMS to further develop efficiencies for the OD&T function.

    You are an experienced administrative professional with a Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years hands-on experience in organizational development, leadership development, talent management, and/or coaching. You are exceptionally organized and systems, process, and technology focused with the administrative functions of your position. Positively influencing the culture of the organization gets you excited to come to work each day, and facilitating that impact through organization, scheduling, and metrics is how you get things done. You are a doer!
