Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Under the direction of the Nursing Leadership (can be defined as Director/Manager of the Clinical Resource Center/ Clinical Resource Office/ Nursing Office based on business unit), the House Manager provides supervision, leadership and administrative guidance to patient care units by making rounds on their assigned shift. Responsible for adequately staffing the Nursing Department, recognizing the importance of efficiency and cost effectiveness while providing high quality of service. Administratively accountable for leading, managing, developing, supervising, and evaluating assigned staff. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating work performance for professional and support staff including hiring and disciplinary actions for staff assigned with the Clinical Resource Center/ Clinical Resource Office/ Nursing Office. Functions as administrative and leadership coverage for all inpatient department areas in the absence of unit leadership.
